1. Who eats ...
a. Plants? -Squirrels, Insects,Pronghorn, other grazers and other small rodents.
b. Snakes? -Raptor and Badger.
c. Insects? -Bats, Lizards and other small reptiles
d. Mountain Lions? No animal eats the Mountain Lion.
2.
- If they shoot the coyote, the effect on the food web will maybe that there's going to be a lot of small reptiles running around.
3.
- The increase effectt on the mountain lions is that maybe the grazaers of the world would be extinct or in danger of being extinct.
4.
- The effect of the Mesquite trees has on the eco system is the efficient of gathering water. The problem is that they take too much watr, that the plants cannot germinate anymore. But, the leaves can be eaten and they are also put into seed pods, which can be eaten by animals. Also, they put nutrients back into the soil.

Van Helmonts Experiment
1.Quantitavie: doing an experiment while measuring stuff.
2. I think that is plants ate soil, this experiment would have weighed a lot more than 90.8 kilograms.
3. This hypothesis was wrong because plants don't eat soil.
4. He tried to control the variables by covering the surface of the soil with a metal plate.
5. The weight would have a large difference because it would have been heavier.
6. The soil maybe got stuck to the roots or something.
7. Water molocules really give plants their weight.
8. I would measure the plants every few months because five years is a very long time going with out measuring the plants.

Plant Questions And Wordle
1. What is a vascular plant?
- Vascular plants have systems of tubes for the transport of nutrients and water.
2. What structures do all vascular plants share?
- Vascular plants share the same structures by having roots, leaves and stems. These are just the basic similarities.
3. What are the roots designed to do?
- Roots are designed to pull water and minerals from whatever material the plant sits on.
4. What are the two jobs of a stem?
- The stem transports food and water to the plant and it acts as support structures to the plant.
5. What is the job of the xylem vessels?
- The xylem vessels job is to transport cells that circulates water and dissolved minerals.
6. What does the phloem transport?
- The phloem transports sugar and other molecules coming from the plant.
7. Inside leaves are organelles (tiny organs) called chloroplasts. Inside chloroplast is a green substance called chlorophyll. What is the job of chlorophyll?
- Chlorophyll can grab the sunlight and start the whole process of photosynthesis.
8. In Photosynthesis, what molecules combine together to form what compounds?
- Carbon dioxide and water combine with light to create oxygen and glucose.
